Aponte-Torres v. Univ. of Puerto Rico, 05-1534

Grant of judgment on the pleadings for the defendant in a 42 U.S.C. 1983 case alleging multiple forms of discrimination is affirmed where: 1) plaintiffs' general pleadings failed to state a cause of action; 2) the court was within its discretion in denying a motion to amend; and 3) plaintiffs failed to address an order in the notice of appeal.
