Denial of defendant's motions for judgment as a matter of law, new trial or, in the alternative, for remittitur of the damages award is affirmed where the jury's verdict on liability was properly upheld on the facts, there was no abuse of discretion as to the new trial motion, and the damages awarded were not irrational.
