United States First Circuit

US v. STEARNS, 03-2340

Defendant's conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm is affirmed over his challenge that the district court erroneously categorized him as an armed career criminal when it refused to count as one crime his convictions for two burglaries committed against the same victim on consecutive days.
