United States First Circuit

US v. CASAS, 02-1677

The Court denied defendant's motion to compel internal court memoranda written by the judge who presided over the trial because 1) the memoranda are confidential, 2) the memoranda are not part of the district court record, and 3) a defendant has no vested right to a particular judge who acts for the court.
