US v. CONNOLLY, 02-2201

Conviction and sentence for RICO violations are affirmed over claims that 1) the government failed to prove two critical elements of RICO, 2) the district court erred in its calculation of the applicable offense level, and 3) the court erred when it denied a request to convene an evidentiary hearing to inquire into the propriety of alleged note-taking by jurors.
