MUNIZ-RIVERA v. US, 02-2011

Claims that the government negligently failed to warn, inform of impending danger, mandate flood insurance, and inspect plaintiffs' homes are all barred by the FTCA's misrepresentation exception. Claims that the government failed properly to supervise the planning and construction of the housing projects and to take appropriate measures to prevent future flooding are barred by the FTCA's discretionary function exception.
