United States First Circuit
US v. COOK, 01-1405
Even if the police officer who initially stopped the defendant did not personally witness any behavior which suggested the defendant had recently participated in an attempted drug deal, given the collective knowledge of all of the officers who participated in the stop, there were ample grounds to briefly question the defendant about an attempted drug transaction.
