CORRADA-BETANCES v. SEA-LAND SERV., INC., 00-2153

A district court's decision to grant summary judgment on all but one claim does not deprive the court of diversity jurisdiction if the one remaining claim does not satisfy the amount in controversy requirement because the amount claimed at the inception of the suit controls the jurisdiction of the district court.
