BESSETTE v. AVCO FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC., 99-2291

11 USC 105 of the Federal Bankruptcy Code provides district courts with equitable powers of relief such that it can enforce the discharge injunction imposed by 11 USC 524 and order damages for the appellant in the case if the merits so require.
