United States Eleventh Circuit

US v. Kapordelis, 07-14499

Defendant's child pornography conviction and sentence are affirmed where: 1) 18 U.S.C. section 2251(a) applies regardless of whether the violation occurred on American soil or abroad, so long as the behavior has a sufficient nexus with the U.S.; and 2) the District Court did not abuse its discretion in refusing an evidentiary hearing on the search warrant.
