United States Eleventh Circuit

Ferguson v. USAG, 08-10806

Petitioner's petition for review of the BIA's order of removal is denied, where the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act's (IIRIRA) repeal of the Immigration and Nationality Act section 212(c) waiver provision does not have an impermissible retroactive effect on aliens convicted of deportable offenses before IIRIRA's effective date.
