United States Eleventh Circuit

United Technologies Corp. v. Mazer, 0615561, 0615562

In a case stemming from theft and sale of blueprints relating to an aircraft engine manufactured by division of plaintiff-corporation, grants of motion to dismiss for failure to state a claim and motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction in favor of defendants are reversed in part and affirmed in part where: 1) the complaint stated a claim for relief; and 2) the district court correctly found that the record provided an insufficient basis for exercising personal jurisdiction over defendant.
