United States Eleventh Circuit

Perez v. Sanford-Orlando Kennel Club, Inc., 06-15931

In an overtime wages lawsuit brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, judgment finding all but one of defendants liable for a violation of the FLSA overtime wages provision is reversed in part as to the denial of liquidated damages where the jury reasonably could have concluded that defendants' violations of the FLSA were willful, thus ruling out a finding by the judge of good faith.
