In case involving Alabama prisoner on death row for his conviction for a fatal shooting, denial of habeas petition is affirmed over claims that: 1) petitioner's trial counsel were constitutionally ineffective in failing to uncover and present mitigating evidence during the penalty phase of his trial; and 2) counsel were constitutionally ineffective in failing to develop and present evidence that the shooting was not the cause of the victim's death.
