United States Eleventh Circuit
Rivera v. U.S. Attorney Gen., 06-10209
Petitions for review of denials of applications for asylum and withholding of removal are denied, as the record does not compel the conclusion that petitioners' fear of persecution is on account of their political opinion when their persecutors have murdered members of their family for their refusal to pay a "war tax" to a Marxist paramilitary organization, the Sixth Front of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
