United States Eleventh Circuit

Hanley v. Roy, 06-13161

In case brought by grandparents seeking return of their grandchildren to Ireland, dismissal of petition, filed under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, is reversed as defendant father's removal of the children from Ireland was wrongful under the Convention, such that the children should be returned to Ireland for a determination of the grandparents' guardianship rights by an Irish court.
