In civil rights action alleging wrongful arrest, excessive force, and malicious prosecution against city and police officer, granting of motion for judgment as a matter of law, after jury returned special verdict for plaintiff, is reversed where the district court erred in failing failed to comport with the proper legal standard for ruling on a motion pursuant to Rule 50 and impermissibly credited the jury's findings.
