United States Eleventh Circuit

Dresdner Bank AG v. M/V Olympia Voyager, 05-10863

Judgment in favor of intervenor, an Italian ship catering company, on its claim against defendant Greek cruise vessel in foreclosure proceedings, is affirmed as the district court properly applied U.S. law that intervenor was entitled to a maritime lien for necessaries with priority over the plaintiff banks' preferred ship mortgage.
