United States Eleventh Circuit

Summary judgment in favor of defendants, in civil rights action alleging Fourth Amendment violations, is affirmed where the initial encounter between plaintiff and defendant peace officer was non-coercive and that no detention triggering the protection of the Fourth Amendment occurred until defendant reasonably suspected plaintiff of a crime, and plaintiff's arrest was supported by probable cause.
