United States Eleventh Circuit

DRAPER v. REYNOLDS, 03-14745

Summary judgment was properly granted to defendant-officer in this section 1983 suit arising out of a traffic stop and arrest. Truck's inoperable tag light was probable cause for the stop; defendant's belligerent and confrontational behavior justified the arrest; use of taser gun to effectuate the arrest did not constitute excessive force.
