US v. JERNIGAN, 00-16199

Convictions for being a felon in possession a firearm, are affirmed over various claims of error including 1) insufficiency of the evidence, 2) failing to dismiss the indictment based on a Speedy Trial Act violation, 3) admitting evidence of past crimes under Fed. R. Evid. 404(b), and 4) rejecting challenge to the admission of evidence regarding gang membership.
