GRECH v. CLAYTON COUNTY, 01-13151

A sheriff in Georgia does not act as a county policymaker for purposes of the county's liability under 42 U.S.C. section 1983. Thus, the County has no section 1983 liability for the Sheriff's law enforcement policies and conduct regarding warrant information on the Criminal Justice Information System, or the training and supervision of his employees.
