HICKS v. HEAD, 01-11621

Violations of Ake v. Oklahoma, 470 U.S. 68, 105 S. Ct. 1087, 84 L. Ed. 2d 53 (1985), are subject to harmless error analysis, and the Ake violation in this case was harmless. Thus, denial of federal habeas relief 28 U.S.C. section 2254 is affirmed.
