United States Eleventh Circuit

US v. HASSON, 00-13180, 00-14012

Sufficient evidence exists in the record to support convictions for wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and conspiracy to launder money. The sentencing court did not commit plain error in the restitution order, and the orders of restitution and forfeiture are properly founded on facts proven with sufficient evidence under a preponderance of the evidence standard.
