US v. YEAGER, 02-11265

Proof of reasonable reliance is not a necessary component of a federal mail fraud conviction. Under U.S.S.G. section 2F1.1, profits made on the open market are a reasonable estimate of the value of a stolen right to unrestricted distribution.
