United States Tenth Circuit
US v. Chavez-Calderon, 06-2313
Sentence for illegal reentry of an alien after deportation is affirmed over defendant's arguments that the district court: 1) committed reversible error in failing to adequately explain why it imposed the sentence; and 2) gave improper weight to two incidents allegedly involving domestic violence when neither resulted in a conviction.
