United States Tenth Circuit
US v. Balderama-Iribe, 04-4316
A mandatory life sentence imposed for a drug trafficking conviction is affirmed over a claim that the prosecutor negated previous proper notice of a sentence enhancement when the prosecutor mistakenly indicated during a pretrial hearing that defendant was instead subject to only a statutory mandatory minimum twenty-year sentence.
