United States Tenth Circuit
US v. Mendoza, 05-4299
Defendant's conviction for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute is affirmed over claims that: 1) the district court improperly denied a motion to suppress evidence seized from his motor vehicle; 2) the district judge should have disqualified himself from the case; 3) the government breached its plea agreement by instituting civil forfeiture proceedings against his vehicle; and 4) he was entitled to a reduction in his sentence as a mere "minor participant" in a larger drug scheme.
