United States Tenth Circuit
Kripp v. Luton, 05-7062
Dismissal of plaintiff's federal civil rights actions challenging a law enforcement seizure and subsequent forfeiture of property on statute of limitations grounds affirmed in part and reversed in part where: 1) causes of action regarding the initial seizure of his property accrued at the time of the seizure, and thus were time-barred; but 2) causes of action challenging the forfeiture process accrued at the time the forfeiture proceedings were held -- not when law enforcement seized his property -- and thus, were timely.
