United States Tenth Circuit
US v. Esser, 05-3277
A conviction for possession of a firearm by a felon is affirmed over claims of erroneous denial of a suppression motion involving: 1) a claim that the trial court improperly placed the burden on him to show the "no-knock" warrant was invalid; and 2) a claim that a "no-knock" warrant was invalid because the state judge relied solely on the presence of firearms as the reason for the warrant.
