United States Tenth Circuit
HOOKER v. MULLIN, 00-6181/86
Habeas corpus relief from murder convictions is denied where 1) admission of a victim's statement in a Victim Protective Order was not prejudicial, 2) proposed instruction on manslaughter was not supported by evidence, and 3) medical examiner's testimony on conscious suffering supported an "aggravator" for "heinous, atrocious or cruel" murder.
