MURPHREE v. U.S. BANK OF UTAH, 01-4106

Because an individual reporting suspected criminal conduct to police authorities is entitled to qualified immunity for erroneous statements made to police officials, a defamation claim based on a bank employee's concern that appellant was attempting to fraudulently cash a check, is remanded for consideration of that issue.
