United States Tenth Circuit

US v. RAMIREZ-ENCARNACION, 01-1030

The government demonstrated necessity for a wiretap where the rural nature of the area made concealing surveillance vehicles almost impossible, the tight-knit nature of the conspiracy made undercover infiltration impossible, and early plans for a wiretap did not prevent the DEA from diligently pursuing the investigation prior to the wiretap.
