US v. LAHUE, 99-3344
A defendant may be guilty under the Medicare Antikickback Act, 42 USC 1320a-7b(b), when his offer, payment, solicitation, or receipt of remuneration was motivated merely in part to induce or in return for referrals, even if the defendant had a different primary purpose.
