US v. HABER, 99-4088

Under the mail fraud statute, 18 USC 1341, evidence that defendant used proceeds obtained from victims as "income" in disability insurance application is sufficient to connect the misrepresentation to the victims with the false statements on the application as part of a "common scheme".
