In a suit to condemn an easement for a water pipeline, defendant's petition for mandamus relief to transfer venue is granted where an amendment to the permissive-venue statute should not be interpreted to eliminate businesses from every venue statute that refers to where a party "resides," and as a result, defendant could insist on venue in the county where it resided if the condemned property was partly located there.
