City of Houston v. Williams, 06-0159
In a suit brought by retired firefighters against the city of Houston to recover amounts deducted from payments they received upon termination of employment, denial of the city's jurisdictional plea asserting governmental immunity is reversed and remanded where the firefighters' only conceivable remedy was an award of money damages.
