Dismissal of a pro se inmate's appeal is reversed where, although defendant filed his appeal without paying a filing fee or filing an affidavit of indigence, he corrected the defect before a deadline ordered by the court of appeals, and dismissal could not be sustained on alternative grounds without giving defendant an opportunity to amend.
