Supreme Court of Texas

WALKER v. GUTIERREZ, 01-0841

The Medical Liability and Insurance Improvement Act section 13.01(g) grace period is available to cure timely filed but inadequate expert reports, but the trial court did not abuse its discretion in denying a request for such grace period where the failure to file an adequate expert report was not the result of a mistake of law.
