LAMBERT v. AFFILIATED FOODS, INC., 00-0142, 00-0201

The Texas Workers' Compensation Act does not prohibit voluntary pre-injury agreements, where employees of nonsubscribers to workers' compensation insurance voluntarily elect to participate in employer benefit plans that provide injured employees specified benefits in lieu of common-law remedies.
