Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas

St. George v. State of Texas, 998-06, 999-06

In a prosecution for possession of marijuana and failure to identify as a fugitive, a court of appeals decision reversing a trial court's denial of defendant's suppression motions is affirmed where the court of appeals did not err in holding that defendant was illegally detained when he was questioned by the deputies once the initial reason for a traffic stop had ended.
