Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas

Michael v. State of Texas, 1611-05

A court of appeals' judgment affirming a conviction for aggravated sexual assault and indecency with a child is vacated where the court of appeals used an improper standard in rejecting a claim that the trial court reversibly erred by permitting the state to bolster the credibility of its essential witness, although her character for truthfulness had not been attacked.
