Fletcher v. State of Texas, 1809-05, 1810-05

A sentence for drug-related offenses is reversed and remanded for a new punishment hearing where the court of appeals erred in taking judicial notice of a mandate issued in an enhancement conviction, therefore relieving the state of its burden of proving finality of the conviction.
