Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas

Wiede v. State of Texas, 748-05

A decision reversing denial of a suppression motion in a prosecution for possession of methamphetamine offenses is reversed where the court of appeals failed to give appropriate deference to the trial judge's fact-findings, and it erred in finding that the search was unsupported by probable cause.
