Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas

TORRES v. STATE OF TEXAS, 1321-00

The Court of Appeals erroneously held that excluded testimony, that deceased entered woman's apartment and threatened her two days before he was killed, was relevant only to character conformity, and therefore, it did not perform a harm analysis; remanded for finding of whether error was properly preserved for appellate review and whether to perform the appropriate harm analysis.
