Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas
WILSON v. STATE OF TEXAS, 73,747
Because a defense witness was testifying as to his opinion of the defendant, the State was entitled to test his knowledge of defendant by asking "did you know questions" about specific criminal acts, and the acts did not have to, and in fact shouldn't, be proved before the jury.
