Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas

JOHNSON v. STATE OF TEXAS, 73,765

Where the state advanced race-neutral reasons for exercising a peremptory challenge against a juror, and the appellant failed to prove that the prosecutor-s explanations for exercising peremptory challenge were incorrect, much less that they were a pretext for discrimination, it was not error for the trial court to fail to sustain objection to the state-s exercise of peremptory challenge.
