People v. Denson, 130
Conviction for attempted kidnapping in the second-degree is affirmed where: 1) the trial court properly admitted defendant's 1978 sodomy conviction for sexual abuse of his stepdaughter as evidence of intent; and 2) there was sufficient evidence that defendant had the intent to commit the crime and that he came near to completing the crime.
