Imposition of a term of postrelease supervision (PRS) at sentencing is reversed, vacated, and remitted for further proceedings, where: 1) the court must notify defendant of a term of PRS sufficiently in advance of its imposition so that defendant has the opportunity to object to the deficiency in the plea proceeding; and 2) in the absence of such an opportunity, preservation of a deficiency claim in the plea proceeding is unnecessary.
