Working Families Party v. Fisher, 59

In a challenge to an order relieving a district attorney at his own request, and appointing a special district attorney to conduct an investigation in his place into a case involving possible violations of Election Law section 14-126 and other provisions of law in connection with a 2009 City Council election on Staten Island, the Appellate Division's dismissal of the case is affirmed, where the special prosecutor was validly appointed.
